The highly-anticipated Tesla Cybertruck has finally hit the streets, four years after its jaw-dropping debut. With its futuristic and angular design, the Cybertruck is making waves as it undergoes its first deliveries.

The rear-wheel-drive version comes with a starting price of $60,990, a slight increase from its original 2019 price of $39,900, offering a range of 250 miles on a full charge. However, this version is set to be released in 2025. The all-wheel-drive (AWD) version starts at $79,990, boasting a range of 340 miles and a top speed of 112 mph. For those seeking the ultimate power, the Cyberbeast edition starts at $99,990, featuring an impressive 845 horsepower and 10,296 pound-feet of torque, with both versions slated for release in 2024.

During the delivery event, Elon Musk invited Tesla’s chief designer, Franz Von Holzhausen, to reprise the infamous window strength demonstration. Unlike the 2019 debut where a steel ball shattered the so-called armored glass, this time, a baseball was thrown, and the glass remained intact.

Musk proudly announced, “Cybertruck demand has exceeded expectations,” noting that over a million people have placed a $100 refundable deposit to reserve their Cybertruck. This overwhelming response may pose significant challenges for Tesla in meeting the demand.
